CTET exam 2024:
According to CBSE notification for CTET which is issued by March, the CTET exam has already comes out in 7th of July 2024, Sunday. Both Paper 1 & Paper 2 examinations were conducted separately.
CBSE conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) twice in a year to evaluate candidates for Primary (Class 1-5) and upper primary (Class 6-8). It’s a offline mode exam and it has no -ve marking.
The CTET Exam comprises two papers: Paper I is for those who intend to teach classes I to V, while Paper II is for those aiming to teach classes VI to VIII. This offline exam is conducted in 20 different languages across various exam centers.
CTET exam schedule:
CTET test conducts in two shifts for primary teacher: paper 1 (9.30-12.00) and for upper primary teacher: paper 2 (2.30-5.00). Please refer to the tables below for the latest information on exam timings and schedule. The CTET exam is conducted in two shifts. For 2024 in July session, the CTET exam took place on July 7, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:
- CTET Paper 1: Candidates must have qualified for the Senior Secondary exam with a minimum of 50% marks and must have also qualified for the 2-year D.El.Ed exam.
- CTET Paper 2: Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university. Candidates who have cleared or appeared in the B.Ed programme with at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply.
CTET exam pattern:
For CTET July 2024 Session will be held in offline mode with an exam time duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Candidates who are going to attend in the exam need to know that, a total number 150 MCQs will be asked from different sections, each will be of 1 mark and there is no negative marking.

Application Form:
The application form for CTET 2024 is made available by the Central Board of Secondary Education for the July 2024 session from March 7 to April 5, 2024. The CTET online form 2024 link was available on the official website www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates who needed to fill out the CTET application form 2024 to appear for the exam. The CTET last date 2024 to apply online and pay the application fee was April 5, 2024. CBSE provided a one-time facility for candidates to make corrections to the already submitted application form. The CTET form correction 2024 window was available from April 8 to 12, 2024.
Application Fees:
The application fees for a single paper is 1000/- for General and OBC category. And for SC/ST and PH category the application fees for single paper is 500/- . For those applying for both Paper I and II, the fee is ₹1200 for General/OBC and 600/- for SC/ST & PH candidates. They will be pay the fees by using a debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI.
Admit Card:
CBSE releases the admit cards for the CTET exam around 2 days before the date of conduct of the Examination. The admit card link for CTET 2024 exam will be added in the official website of CTET. All candidates can download their admit card/hall ticket by clicking on the link www.ctet.nic.in.
Answer Key:
CBSE release the CTET official answer key for July 2024 session within 15-20 days after exam in the official website www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates for download their CTET answer key for paper 1 and paper 2 by using their login details Roll number or Date of birth. The CBSE will also issue the CTET answer key 2024 along with the online objection link. Candidates need to raise objections against the provisional CTET answer key PDF 2024 with the appropriate evidence and a fee of 1000/- per challenge.
Results:
CBSE will be announced the CTET results 2024 after the completion of the assessment process. As per the official notification, the CTET result 2024 will be released by the end of August 2024 in the official website www.ctet.nic.in.
CTET cut off:
The candidates belonging to the general category must score 90 marks out of a total of 150 60% marks. And for OBC, SC and ST category candidates 82 mark out of total 150. i.e 55% .
